COVID-19 social enterprise recovery in 2020

The Social Traders COVID-19 June 2020 survey provided the only national insight into the impact COVID-19 on the Australian social enterprise sector.

Our advocacy agenda called for Federal and State Governments across Australia to introduce mandatory Social Enterprise Procurement spend targets and support the development of a patient capital fund, so Social Enterprises can recover and thrive.

Our survey received over 170 responses at the time and influenced our release of the Social Enterprise Finder in 2021. We also engaged Just Gold, a certified social enterprise Digital Agency, to produce a short clip celebrating the resilience of the sector.
